Time seems to be passing so slowly. Today is just the 4th day of Joe's reservist. Sighh!! Still got another 11 more days to go?? Really missed him soooo much!!

Me went on course for the past 2 days.. Going back work tomorrow le.. Don't know why.. But suddenly missed working in the office.. Think maybe the course tooooooo boring liao.. Haha.. Keep yawning during the course.. So much so that my eyes keep tearing, till my makeup (eyes area) all melted liao..

Met Min last night for dinner at Coca. We ordered ala carte instead of having their buffet dinner. Yet, ended up we paid more than what we would have paid if we had ordered buffet instead. Shit!!!

Oops.. Telephone ringing.. Should be hubby calling liao.. Byeee!!

Brought XiangAn and XiangZe to Science Centre this afternoon... Wow.. Its really been a long long time ever since Joe and I stepped foot into Science Centre.. Think the last time I came here was when I was in my Primary School.. Think its either Pri 5 or Pri 6..





Everything suddenly seems so interesting to me.. Hehe..

The 2 boys pestered me to buy a toy dinosaus for them.. Cost me around $12 for 2.. We also watched Omni-Theater Show (Dinosaus Alive) before we proceeded for home.. That show.. Sighh.. Seems more like a documentary show.. Keep talking about how the archeologists found the fossils.. So boring that I ended up sleeping throughout the 40 mins show.. Waste of money..

Hmm... Tomorrow Joe flying to Thailand for his reservist liao.. Sad.. Nobody for me irritate liao.. Hehe.. After accompanying him to Changi Airport in the evening tomorrow, me going back to my mom place to stay for these 2 weeks..

Think this is the 1st time we going to be apart for so long.. Sigh!!! Hope he comes back soon enough!!

Went Compass Point with Joe on Thursday.. We had dinner at Sakura Family Restaurant. Yummy, its been some time since we last ate at Sakura...

We ordered Pineapple Fried Rice and HongKong Noodle.. Plus Pandan Leaf Chicken.. Joe likes the noodle more.. I like the rice more.. Maybe cos I have always loved fried rice ba.. Haha..

Joe and mine's fav soft toy!!! Find them so cute.... We even named them wor.. Wahaha..

A Happy Family..

Yo!! I'm back.. Mus be wondering where I went.. Hehe.. Me went back to my mom place to stay from Sat to Tues.. Why leh? Cos my bro and SIL went Europe for holiday, then my nephew having his tests/exams on Mon to Wed. So need to go back home teach him..

It feels so shiok to stay over at mom's place once a while.. Hehe.. Anyway, me will be going back to my mom place stay again this weekend. Joe going for his reservist in Thailand liao.. Going to miss him...

My nephews had 2 pet hamsters recently. One skinny one fat.. Skinny one named Alvin. Fat one named Kelvin. Don't ask me why they choose these 2 names for the hamsters.. I don't know wor..

Anyway, these 2 little ones kept fighting all day long.. Well.. Jus like my nephews.. Haha.. Then yesterday evening I went home after work, I was informed by the boys that Alvin & Kelvin fought again. This time, Alvin was seriously injured..Poor hamster.. Its head was bleeding and one of its leg was like handicapped. Cant really move about.. The boys urged me to bring it to see vet.. But, not knowing where got vet, I brought them to the pet shop instead.. The staff infd that it's either it will die or it will recover by itself.. Told us to don bother about it..

Sighh.. But, it's really so sad to see it suffering leh.. Hmm.. The boys were so sad.. Well, Alvin did not survive in the end.. Sad ya.. It died this afternoon.. Haiz.

Anyway, I promised the boys to get another hamster for them soon.. Shall see when ba.. Haha

Okie.. That's all.. Me tired liao.. Going zzz liao..

Went Waraku for lunch today with Bibi and Ailing.. Hehe.. As usual la.. Cos we jus gotten our pay. Thus, decided to eat something good for lunch..


Wow.. This is the 1st time I tried the soup pasta. Scallop and mushrooms soup pasta.. Yummy!! The soup just taste heavenly!! Shiok!!


Now looking forward to our lunchtime tomorrow.. Cos Maggie and us going Far East Plaza for shopping!! Hurray!!

For the past 2 nights, I had woke up in the middle of the night.. Why leh?? Thanks to my hubby!!

Stupid Joe.. Don know how he slept one wor.. On the 1st night, halfway through sleeping, he elbowed me on my mouth. I woke up. When I fell back to sleep again, he elbowed me again. This time, on my left eye... ZZz..

Night 2 - Don kn hw he tossed and turned.. His finger poked me.. And of all areas, he "choose" to poke on my waist!! My most sensitive area lor!!! I woke up, in fright of cos!!

Sighh!!! Poor me.. Sleep with hubby oso so dangerous.. ;( He betta don kick me down the bed next time wor.. ;p

Got a sudden craving for potato chips last nite, so Joe and I made our way to Hougang Point NTUC..

Bought many things.. Heheh.. And and I made some discovery!!

I was soooo surprised!! While queuing up to pay money, there's a magazine rack just beside me. I was just browsing through and guess wat I saw?!?!

Cinderella Story Part II!!! I din know this fairy tale got Part II and III wor!!! So I stood there and read finish the Part II..

And I found the story abit.. Can I say stupid?? Ok, briefly this is wat Cinderella Part II is about.. There's an upcoming horse riding competition going on in the kingdom and Cinederella was nominated by the Prince and King to be the horsewoman. So she was given a choice of those finest horses.. But she din managed to choose one that she really likes and feels suitable for the competition. So end up, she got her old "friend" Frou instead..

The King and Prince does not feel confident in this old horse she chosen. However, still give in to her request. So Cinderella trained this horse for the competition. Frou, being old, makes alot of mistakes during the training and had no confidence in itself for the event.

Thus, Cinderella seeks help from her fairy godmother who in turns, made a pair of glass horseshoe for Frou. With this glass horseshoe, Frou will be able to run without missing a single step.

On the day of the competition, true enough, Frou had run very well and came in 1st!!

Ok.. That's the end of story....

Stupid ya?? Haha.. So this is what Cinderella Part II - Heart of a Champion is about..

Went to JE family's place on weekend for our "home economics" lesson.. Hehe...

Well, we made 3 different things that day..

The pic below is our homemade chinese pancake (mee jian kway) with kaya fillings.. Though it might be a lot thinner than those sold outside, it tastes yummy.. Hehe.. Shall try to improve it next time..




Besides this pancake, we also made butter and walnut ice cream & coconut gelato too!! Though I din took pics of those 2 ice creams..

For the butter and walnut ice cream, think it tastes better when we pour some chocolate syrup over it..

As for our coconut gelato, Joe found it abit too sweet.. I find it ok though.. Think I got a sweet tooth.. Hehe.. However, for this, we really need more improvement. Cos it does not turn out as white as it should be.. Guess we have not beaten our egg yolk till it turns white.. So end up, our coconut gelato is creamy in color.. ;(

Never mind.. Will practice more next time.. Hehe..

Today is National Day.. Shall wish my country a very happy birthday.. May all Singaporeans be blessed with good health and wealth.. ;P

Oh!! And to "celebrate" it, we had steamboat dinner at JE family's place.. Wahaha.. Yummy yummy!!!

Still remember my last year's National Day.. It was "spent" in office.. I was on National Day duty.. Hehe.. A fun experience!!

Joe and I went FIR concert last night. It was held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.. Needless to say.. It was damn crowded lor..

Before heading to the concert, we had our dinner first at Plaza Singapura.. Then around 6:50pm, we decided to head for the bus stop to take SBS no. 16 to the concert location directly.. But.. The bus took damn long to come.. And it was super crowded.. We totally cant get up the buses st all... We missed 2-3 buses.. By 7:40pm, we are still waiting for bus lor!!! Koaz..

The concert was supposed to start at 8pm.. So end up, we decided to take bus 14 instead to Suntec.. Then see if can get a cab not... Sighh.. Still, we had no luck with the cabs and bus no. 16...

But we managed to meet a kind lady with her friend. They were also going to the FIR concert. They had managed to flag down a cab and before getting on, they turned towards us and asked if we were going there too.. So we shared the cab with her... A nice lady indeed!! Hehe..

Though I'am not really an FIR fan, I must say the concert is superb!! Their songs are really nice too... Din regret going to the concert la.. Wahaha..

Hmm... But I still hope there'll be an S.H.E concert held in Singapore soon.. Miss them.. Hehe..

Met up with Min on Wed nite.. Went for dinner at Bishan's Ding Tai Feng...

Its been so long since I last ate at Ding Tai Feng liao.. And the 1st time I ate was at Taiwan.. Wow.. Their quality of the food is superb!!! Think it was just my 3rd visit to Ding Tai Feng on Wed.. Hehe..

Min's steam pork rib soup... She oso ordered one Zha Jiang Mian.. But nv took a pic of it.. Hehe..

Oh my god!! This is my FAV.. Fried Egg rice with Shrimps.. Think for all the 3 times I went Ding Tai Feng, I have ordered this.. Hehe.. Cos its just soooooooo NICE!!!

After finishing these, we continued staying at Ding Tai Feng and we ordered another stuff.. Hehe.. Yam paste xiao long bao.. Wahahaha.. Really shiok..

Then when we about to end our dinner, Joe called me.. He and buddies just out from camp from their RT.. Going Balestier for their late dinner.. Again.. My fav.. The famous Founder Bak Kut Teh!!! Of cos I nv eat la.. But I drank e soup.. It's delicious can!! Hot and spicy.. Shiok!!

Went AMK for brunch with the JE family. After meal, we shopped around AMK Hub then went back to their house.. As usual lor.. Joe and Yf playing PS3.. We girls have nothing to do, so we went Compassvale Mall buy some ingredients make cupcakes.. Hehe..


It tastes yummy!!! So delicious.. But the base of the cupcakes like a bit "chow da".. But, there's no taste of it.. Lucky.. Hehe..

Its really easy to make leh.. See the receipe below:

Ingredients
1) 150gm butter
2) 150gm caster sugar
3) 175gm self raising flour
4) 3 eggs
5) 2 teaspoons vanilla essence

Method
Just mix all of the above together.

Then scoop a spoonful into the cupcake paper cases.

Bake at 180 degrees for 18-20 mins.


Tada!! Completed.. We used mini size paper cases.. So we did not bake for the time as stated.. Instead, we only bake for abt 11-14mins..

For the toppings, we tried melting white chocolate and spread it on the cupcakes. We also sprinkled some rainbow rice. Nice nice!! The white chocolate so difficult to melt it leh.. So we cant spread so evenly.. Haiz.. Wonder how can we melt chocolate successfully.. ;p
