Went to Army Musuem cos of the PID Training Day today... Its at the Singapore Discovery Centre. Hmm.. ok la, I din really pay much attention during the "excursion". I only went for the sake of clocking in the training hours as we are now in the new FY liao. Think of most us (IPD) went for the same purpose too. Don think we are really really that interested to know about Army life!! Hehe..

It ended quite early. By 3:30 we already finish touring around the musuem liao. We then wanted to proceed to the tea reception provided. But cos we can go & try out the shooting, we skip the tea break instead.

Wah, the M16 rifle damn heavy lo!! Lucky it got a support one.. Else I sure got no strength to hold it, not to mention to aim and shoot.. ;p Its free of cos.. So its a long long queue at the entrance into the shooting area..

But it is really fun leh.. Though heavy la, but really exciting. It is my 1st time shooting! The place is quite dark and I cant figure where is the trigger.. Haha. Think the rifle too long liao. So I just roughly touch and feel. People already start shooting liao, I haven shoot yet.. By the time I fumbled upon the trigger, I missed one of the targets liao. ;(

When I fired one shot, I can really feel the jerking lor.. Quite shiok leh!! Got one gal really shoot well. She never missed one single shot at all.. 11 rounds fired, 11 hits. Actually, not surprising la.. Cos she's a PO ma.. Mine 11 rounds fired, 5 hits. 1 more hit to passing. Sighh!!

Wonder if Army Musuem allows people to come as and when they like not.. Wanted to try the shooting again. Hehe..
